MOUNT FANSIPAN TREKKING ITINERARY
Day 1
This Mount Fansipan trekking tour begins at 9am, so you can enjoy a good sleep before the long trek!
You’ll meet your guide and driver and transfer by car to the trailhead, a short distance of 15km drive away. We start the climb at the Park Rangers’ Station at a height of 2,000m.
Throughout this climb, we can observe and learn about the local cardamom plants, and the uses they have for this local area. Local birds can also be seen throughout this walk, depending on the seasons.
As we reach a height of 2,200m, we relax with a picnic lunch. We then keep on trekking up to the height of 2,800m, taking in the spectacular views along the way.
After setting up camp for the night, dinner is cooked over a campfire. Stretch and unwind from the day, before an early night. You will find yourself sleeping soundly, while nestled in amongst the rugged beauty of the mountains.
Day 2
With an early rise of 6.30-7am, we have breakfast together before we undertake the final ascent to the very top of Fansipan Mountain.
Reaching the summit around 10-10.30am, we can celebrate the victorious achievement of reaching the top of Vietnam, 3,143m above sea level.
Take some time to soak in the fresh crisp air, and beautiful views of Sapa town and the thick green forests that cover the steep landscape.
After enjoying the remarkable views, we’ll descend down to 2,800m to have lunch.
Feeling revitalised after the break, we trek back down to Tram Ton Pass at 2,000m, where our driver awaits and we are transferred back to Sapa Town.
Your Fansipan trekking tour is completed with a well-deserved soothing herbal medicine bath or foot massage.

Morning pickup at 8:00 AM from your hotel for transfer to Ha Long Bay, which is about 160 km or 3.5-hour drive away. You will see some rural areas of the Red River Delta with plenty of chances to take photos of Vietnamese farmers working in paddy fields and you may stop on the way to admire the local scenery. Arrive in Ha Long City at 11:30 AM and check in aboard the booked junk when your journey across Ha Long Bay starts.
DA NANG - HUE - HOI AN (4 Days 3 Nights)
