DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1 : Ho Chi Minh arrival

Upon on arrival at the airport (Please inform the arrival flight details). Our driver will welcome you by holding a welcome board with your name on. We will drive to the hotel inside the city center to check in. Check in time at noon (~14h00)

Have lunch on your own

Free at leisure in the afternoon to explore the city center and sightseeing around. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 2 : Ho Chi Minh city tour - Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)

08:00 – 08: 30 AM: Pick up and start the city tour included:

Independence Palace (the Reunification Palace) was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace.

War Remnants Museum which has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars.

Notre Dame Cathedral & Central Post Office the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times

Jade Emperor Pagoda with the peaceful atmosphere &o many stories behind each detail of the pagoda.

12:30 AM: Lunchtime with a famous Phở restaurant (Vietnamese noodle soup).

02:00 PM: Depart around 1,5 hours through the pleasant countryside before arriving at Cu Chi Tunnels – the historic site where Vietnamese soldiers used as a shelter during wartime. This fantastic network stretches over 250 km and is the shelter of Vietnamese soldiers during the wars.

There is a shooting range where you can try to fire automatic or semi-automatic weapons for a fee (this fee is not included)

06:00 – 07:00 PM: Be dropped off at your hotel. Dinner on your own account. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 : Ho Chi Minh - Mekong Delta tour (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel.

7h30 – 7h45 am we will drive to My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda which dates back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise Islands. Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around the country lane and see orchards, and enjoy tropical fruits, and folk song music performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation. Ride a hand-rowed sampan through the Thoi Son canal and treat yourself to the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit the honey-bee farm, and enjoy a honey tea and coconut candy workshop.

Have lunch at a restaurant. Break time.

In the afternoon, go by xeloi (local tuk-tuk) around the village and meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong Delta.

17.30 pm Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 4 : Ho Chi Minh - Fly to Danang (B)

Breakfast at the hotel

Check out, and transfer to the airport for the flight (Please inform the flight detail)  to Danang. Pick up on arrival and drive to the hotel in Danang for checking in (Check in at noon time – 14h00).

The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Danang.

Day 5 : Danang - Ba Na Hills - Golden Bridge (B, L)

Breakfast in the hotel.

07.30 am: Meet your guide and driver and head to Ba Na Hills. Take a Cable Car ride from Ba Na Hills station, and stop at By Night station to visit Vong Nguyet Hills, Linh Ung Pagoda, The Old Villas of French. Continue moving up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na range, visiting Nghinh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden… Experience the hill climbing train (the first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), and flower garden Le Jardin D’amour.

You should not miss walking on the famous Golden Bridge hanging in the foggy hills of the mountain, witnessing the amazing and gorgeous view of Da Nang City.

Have lunch in Bana Hills

Afternoon: Free for joining games in Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam with a series of interesting games: 4 – 5D film, skiver, The Death Race, dinosaur park…

15.00 pm: Transfer from Ba Na Hills back to the hotel. On the way back to your hotel, stop to visit Dragon Bridge. Return to your hotel.

Free time at your leisure. Overnight in Danang

Day 6 : Danang - Son Tra - Marble Mountain - Am Phu Cave - Hanoi (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel and check out.

08:00 You will be picked up at your hotel, and then we start Linh Ung pagoda – Marble Mountains Am Phu Cave tour.

We will go to Son Tra Peninsula and visit the biggest Linh Ung pagoda of Danang. It’s the place that you can enjoy the view of the city, the mountain and the ocean from above, and pray in front of the 67-metre statue of Lady Buddha.

09:15 Start visiting The Non Nuoc Village at the foot of Marble Mountains. The village is famous for stone sculptures and handicrafts. Here you can admire many works of art made from stone and marble by the local artists. You can visit some religious places here: the first Linh Ung pagoda in Da Nang and also natural caves such as Huyen Khong cave, Tang Chon cave, admire the scenery of the mountain cluster and the sea from the River view Tower and the Ocean view Tower.

Continue to visit Am Phu cave. Its entrance is at the foot of Hon Thuy Son (the Water mountain) – the largest of the Marble mountains. It’s famous for its name, its extensive chambers and its historic role in the Vietnam war. In addition, this marvel connects with Buddhist culture about life after death, and karma.

11:00 Lunch at the restaurant with Quang Noodles and Banh Xeo. If you are vegetarian, we will prepare vegetarian dishes.

12:00 Return your hotel for a rest before driving to the airport for taking the flight to Hanoi. Pick up to the hotel for checking in. Free at leisure and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 7 : Hanoi city tour (B, L)

08.45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake

It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.

09.30: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of  Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique padoga in the world

• Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…

• Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

•  Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15thJune -15thAugust) for the annual maintaining but still can take picture Mausoleum and visit around that area

11.15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam

Special Note : we will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays

12.45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine with 8 delicious dishes.

14.00-14.15 : Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century

15.15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton

16.15 -16.30: Return to hotel and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 8 : Hanoi – Ha Long Bay - Cruise tour (B, L, D) – Joined cruise

08:15 – 08:45: Hotel or private address pick up with our shuttle bus. Short break half way.

11:45 – 12:00: Arriving Tuan Chau marina, transferred by tender of La Pandora cruises.

12:45 – 13:00: Welcome aboard the cruise. Refresh with our welcome drink. Meet the captain, crew in the cruise briefing, safety instruction.

13:00 – 13:15: A special lunch in Vietnamese cuisine of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favorites are served while sailing through Islets of Con Vit.

16:00: The Cruise sails through Lan Ha Bay. The area is surrounded by extraordinary limestone karsts landscapes. We progress to Ong Cam Area of Lan Ha Bay- a separate part of Ha Long Bay. This is a quiet tourist paradise in Vietnam, enjoy kayaking and/or enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Bay.

17:30: Back to La Pandora Cruise, drop anchor for staying overnight. Enjoy cooking demonstrations (teaching you how to make our speciality, Spring rolls) and the complimentary Sunset Party on the sundeck with local wine and fresh fruit.

19:00: Dinner is served in the restaurant. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff. After dinner, retire to your cabin or join the fishing excursion, watch a movie, have a drink at the bar, wifi access or play exciting games. Overnight on board.

Day 9 : Ha Long Bay - Hanoi - Lao Cai (Brunch)

06:00: Enjoy sunrise and admire the never-ending miraculous scenery of the Bay.

06:30: Light breakfast, coffee and tea served.

07:15: Visit Dark & Bright Cave and islets by local rowing boats which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage.

09:15: Back to our La Pandora Cruise, relax before checking out.

10:00: Lunch is served on board.

12:00: Disembark at the Tuan Chau marina by tender. Take our shuttle bus to return to Hanoi

15:00 – 15:30: Arrival back at your hotel.

Keep the bags at the lobby and free at leisure

20:00 – 21:00: Drive to the station for taking the night train to Lao Cai. Night on train.

Day 10 : Lao cai - Sapa - Trekking tour (B, L, D)

Pick up on arrival and drive to Sapa town.

Keep the luggage at the office, then free before have a breakfast at the restaurant.

At around 9h00am, we will start a trek to the hill tribe villages of Cat Cat, visiting some H’mong hill tribe’s minority peoples. As we walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will meet some of the local minority people on their way to and from Sapa. Here we have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with the families that live in the area. Return to Sapa for dinner. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 11 : Sapa - Lao chai – Tavan hill tribe villages (B, L, D)

Embark on a lovely  walk  that will take us along small paths and trails and through several hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and Tavan, home to H’mong, and Dzay people.

This is a absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet. Stopping for a picnic lunch on the way at a family in Ta Van village.

Opportunity to meet with local people and study the art of making batik and local weaving villages – study textile tradition of craft women o Black H’mong and Red Dzao. Finally, return to Sapa.

Have dinner and overnight in Sapa.

Day 12 : Sapa - Fansipan Peak - Hanoi (B, L)

Have breakfast at hotel

Drive the the station for taking the cable car to the peak of the mountain. You will discover the panorama view from here.

Finally, get cable car back at noon time, then drive to Sapa.

Have lunch at the restaurant

In the afternoon we will be free at leisure around the town for visit the market shopping…

Finally, take the joined limousine bus trip back Hanoi.

Check in at the hotel, free at leisure and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 13 : Hanoi - Departure (B)
