DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh arrival - Half day city tour
Welcome to Ho Chi Minh – the largest city of Vietnam. Your driver will come to pick you up to transfer to your hotel. Lunch on your own.
In the afternoon, we will visit the following places of interest: The Reunification Palace, War Remnant Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post Office, and Jade Emperor Pagoda.
Transfer back to your hotel, overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 2: Day trip to Mekong Delta (B, L) - Joint in tour
Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel, and drive 1,5 hours to My Tho. We will stop along the way for refreshments and toilet.
Upon arrival, we board a motor-boat and cruise along a vast network of canals and channels to enjoy wonderful views of the Mekong River, including four famous islands “Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle and Phoenix”.
Stop at one of the floating fish houses, in nets and wire baskets under their house, the villagers cultivate freshwater fish and shrimp – a major export product of the region.
Cross the River to the other side, you will stop at a traditional workshop to witness a step-by-step process on how to make coconut candy, honey farming… while trying some yourself and listening to traditional music.
Enjoy what local people offer by hand rowing a sampan along the shady, breezy canal. We will transfer to local transportation called Xe Loi to travel throughout the villages.
Lunch will be served at a riverside restaurant with a Vietnamese 5-course set menu. Please request in advance if you have a food allergy, you are a vegetarian, or you observe Halal.
Take a rest after lunch before boarding the motor-boat back to My Tho. We drive to Vinh Trang pagoda, an ancient southern architectural gem built in the middle of the 19th century. There are many Buddha statues including some that are over a hundred years old.
We drive another 1,5 hours back to Ho Chi Minh city and drop you at your hotel.

Day 3: Cu Chi Tunnels - Joint in tour - Ho Chi Minh - Fly to Danang (B, L)
08:00 – 08:30 AM: Pick up at your hotel and start we will depart around 1,5 hours through the pleasant countryside before arriving at Cu Chi Tunnels – the historic site where Vietnamese soldiers used as a shelter during wartime. This fantastic network stretches over 250 km and is the shelter of Vietnamese soldiers during the wars.
Be dropped off at your hotel around 02:00 PM.
Later on, you will be transferred to the airport for a short flight to Danang city (without tour guide).
Upon arrival to Danang, our driver will pick you up and transfer to the hotel to check-in. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Danang free day (B)

Day 5: Danang - Hanoi (B)
Today, you will be transferred to the airport to take your domestic flight to Hanoi.
Once arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our driver and then transfer to the hotel to check in. The room is at your disposal from 02:00 PM. The balance of the day is at your leisure. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)
In the morning leave Hanoi for Halong Bay, arriving around noon. Board and begin your exploration of magical Halong Bay, one of Southeast Asia’s premier tourist destinations. An excellent, fresh seafood lunch and dinner will be served on the boat. Overnight onboard the comfortable and charming boat.
