DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi arrival

Welcome to Hanoi, you will be collected by our local guide at Hanoi Airport and transfer to hotel for check-in. The room is at your disposal from 02:00 PM onwards. The balance of the day is your leisure. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D) by shuttle bus

After breakfast, we will leave Hanoi without the guide for a journey to Halong Bay, one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites with its 2000 islands located in a background of limestone in the Gulf of Tonkin. Coming to Halong, visitors will be impressed with the beauty of natural achievement and many wonderful types of scenery.

You will enjoy an overnight cruise on a wonderful boat floating on Halong Bay and savor a special menu of fresh seafood that will absolutely bring you the best moment you have ever had.

You will be served with lunch and dinner on boat. Overnight onboard.

Note: Meals on boat with local/Asian food. Vegetarian good is available upon request.

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh (B, Brunch)

After breakfast, enjoy your time sunbathing and relaxing in the fascinating background of the bay. After brunch on board – around 11:30 AM, back to Hanoi – en route, our private car picks you up for the airport and then take the flight to Ho Chi Minh.

Upon arrival, you will be picked up by our local guide and driver and transferred to your hotel to check-in. The room is at your disposal from 02:00 PM onwards. The balance of the day will be free at your leisure. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh city tour - Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L) - Joint in tour

08:00 – 08:30 AM: Pick up at your hotel and start the city tour included:

• Independence Palace (the Reunification Palace) was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace.
• War Remnants Museum which has a vast display of both the Indochina wars.
• Notre Dame Cathedral & central Post Office the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times
• Jade Emperor Pagoda with the peaceful atmosphere &o many stories behind each detail of the pagoda.
• Relax and have lunch at a local restaurant.

02:00 PM: Depart around 1,5 hours through the pleasant countryside before arriving at Cu Chi Tunnels – the historic site where Vietnamese soldiers used as a shelter during wartime. This fantastic network stretches over 250 km and is the shelter of Vietnamese soldiers during the wars.

There is a shooting range where you can try to fire automatic or semi-automatic weapons for a fee (this fee is not included)

06:00 – 07:00 PM: Be dropped off at your hotel. Dinner on your own account. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Day trip to Mekong Delta (B, L) - Joint in tour

Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel, and drive 1,5 hours to My Tho. We will stop along the way for refreshments and toilets.

Upon arrival, we board a motor-boat and cruise along a vast network of canals and channels to enjoy wonderful views of the Mekong River, including four famous islands “Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix”.

Stop at one of the floating fish houses, in nets and wire baskets under their house, the villagers cultivate freshwater fish and shrimp – a major export product of the region.

Cross the River to the other side, you will stop at a traditional workshop to witness a step-by-step process on how to make coconut candy, honey farming… while trying some yourself and listening to traditional music.

Enjoy what local people offer by hand rowing a sampan along the shady, breezy canal. We will transfer to local transportation called Xe Loi to travel throughout the villages.

Lunch will be served at a riverside restaurant with a Vietnamese 5-course set menu. Please request in advance if you have a food allergy, you are a vegetarian, or you observe Halal.

Take a rest after lunch before boarding the motor-boat back to My Tho. We drive to Vinh Trang pagoda, an ancient southern architectural gem built in the middle of the 19th century. There are many Buddha statues including some that are over a hundred years old.

We drive another 1,5 hours back to Ho Chi Minh city and drop you at your hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh - Drive to Vung Tau - Free day (B)

Our local driver will meet you and then transfer to Vung Tau by private car (2.5-hour drive).

Vung Tau is a great place to escape the bustle of the big city for a while. Take the short trip to leave the noise and pollution of traffic behind and get ready to enjoy a few days of lazing around on soft sandy beaches, indulging in fresh local seafood and exploring the beautiful surroundings.

Check-in hotel in Vung Tau. The room is at your disposal at 02:00 PM.

Have a great time to enjoy the peace and the natural atmosphere while walking along the sand. You will sit back and relax when you are on the beach.
