DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1
|
HANOI ARRIVAL - SAPA - CAT CAT VILLAGE (L/D)
|
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred directly to Sapa.
9.30 Follow the highway to Lao Cai city with the first comfort break
11:00 Second comfort break at Lao Cai city before approaching Sapa
13:00 Arrive Sapa Town with colourful traditional costumes of H’Mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People.
14.30 A short trekk to Cat Cat village which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill for bus to pick up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon.
Trekking distance is about 2.5 kms and it lasts for 2 hours.
16.30 Come back to Sapa Town.

DAY 2
|
SAPA - FANSIPAN - HANOI (B/L/D)

8:00 After breakfast in the hotel, Check out. Transfer to Fansipan Cable Car Station for an amazing ride to the “the Roof of Indochina”- the
highest mountain in Fansipan- 3143 meter above sea level. First by 20 min Cable Car ride to 2800m level where huge Buddha Statue is located and then either by foot about 600+ steps or by Funicular (at own expense)
to the Peak of Fansipan. Enjoy the fresh air and incredible beautiful Landscape from the high. Transfer back to Hanoi.
Lunch and dinner in the restaurant.
Overnight stay at a hotel in Ha Noi.

DAY 3
|
HANOI - NINH BINH - HOA LU - TRANG AN - HANOI (B/L/D)

08:00 Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. We take you to Ninh Binh province which is far from Hanoi city about 100 km.
10.15 The first destination in this trip is visiting Hoa Lu ancient capital. This is the first capital of Vietnam.
Come to visit Hoa Lu, you will learn about why the capital was moved to Hanoi nowadays. You are impressed on the outstanding architecture when entering the temples of King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of ancient Vietnam, built in the 17 century. Try to feel the ancient atmospheres in Hoa Lu ancient capital. Time for lunch. Relax in 20 minutes.
14.15 Taking a boat excursion from Trang An wharf is a must-do activity in Ninh Binh, as it is the highlight of the journey. On the Trang An Tour, while you ride a bamboo boat through grottos filled with stunning stalactites, you'll be able to take in the breathtaking scenery.
Get in the car and return to Hanoi. Have dinner. After dinner, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 4
|
HANOI - HALONG BAY - OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE - LA PANDORA CRUISE (B/L/D)

Breakfast in hotel then check out.
8:30 Leave Hanoi for a 3-hour drive to Ha Long Bay and a 20-minute stop on the way. Arrive at the jetty in Ha Long City towards noon and proceed with check-in formalities.
11:45 -12:00 pm Arriving at Tuan Chau marina, transferred by tender of La Pandora cruises.
12:45 -13:00 Welcome aboard the cruise. Refresh with our welcome drink. Meet the captain, and crew in the cruise briefing, and safety instructions.
13:00 -13:15: A special lunch in Vietnamese cuisine of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favorites are served while sailing through Islets of Con Vit.
16:00 The Cruise sails through Lan Ha Bay. The area is surrounded by extraordinary limestone karst landscapes. We progress to the Ong Cam Area of Lan Ha Bay- a separate part of Ha Long Bay. This is a quiet tourist paradise in Vietnam, enjoy kayaking and/or swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Bay.
17:30 Back to La Pandora Cruise, drop anchor for staying overnight. Enjoy a cooking demonstration (teaching you how to make our specialty, Spring rolls) and the complimentary Sunset Party on the sundeck with local wine and fresh fruit.
19:00 Dinner is served in the restaurant. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff. After dinner, retire to your cabin or join the fishing excursion, watch a movie, have a drink at the bar, wifi access, or play exciting games. Overnight on board.

DAY 5
|
HALONG BAY LA PANDORA CRUISE - HANOI - FLIGHT TO DA NANG (B/BRUNCH/D)

06:00 Enjoy sunrise and admire the never-ending miraculous scenery of the Bay. Practice an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck.
07:00 Light breakfast, coffee and tea served
08:00 Visit Dark & Bright Cave and islets by local rowing boats which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage.
09:30 Back to our La Pandora Cruise, relax before checking out.
10:15: Join a cooking demonstration (teaching you how to make our specialty, Spring rolls) on the cruise.
10:45 Lunch is served on board.
12:00 pm Disembark at the Tuan Chau marina by tender. Take our shuttle bus to return to Hanoi
3:00-3:30 Arrival back at your hotel.

DAY 6
|
DA NANG - BASKET BOAT AT COCONUT FOREST - HOIAN ANCIENT TOWN (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel and freely relax. Check out the hotel.
10:00. Pick up from hotel and depart for Cam Thanh, Hoian.
You will go visit the ecosystem of the forest by basket boats, catching crabs, and snails and making toys from coconut leaves in around 30 minutes. Especially, you can also join the basket boat race, which will bring you a lot of wonderful experiences.
Lunch in local restaurant.
Move to Hoi An ancient town, visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, Sa Huynh Cultural Museum, and Ancient House... walk around Lantern Street, and shop at Nguyen Hoang Night Market.
Dinner in the restaurant. Free on your own to explore Hoian Ancient town in night. Overnight in Hoian.

DAY 7
|
DA NANG - BANA HILLS - GOLDEN BRIDGE - FANTASY PARK - DA NANG (B/L/D)

08:30 Meet your guide and driver and head to Ba Na Hills. Take a Cable Car ride from Ba Na Hills station, and stop at By Night station to visit Vong Nguyet Hills, Linh Ung Pagoda, and The Old Villas of French. Continue moving up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain - the top of Ba Na range, visiting Nghinh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden… Experience the hill climbing train (the first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar, and flower garden Le Jardin D’amour.
You should not miss walking on the famous Golden Bridge hanging in the foggy hills of the mountain, witnessing the amazing and gorgeous view of Da Nang City.
Have a local lunch in Bana Hills
Afternoon: Free for joining games in Fantasy Park - the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam with a series of interesting games: 4 - 5D film, skiver, The Death Race, Dinosaur Park…
15:00 Transfer from Ba Na Hills back to the hotel. Return to your hotel. Free time at your leisure.
19:00 Have dinner at the restaurant.

DAY 8
|
DA NANG - FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH - CU CHI TUNNEL (B/L/D)
|
Breakfast at the hotel then check out. Free time before transfer to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival pick up at the airport then depart to Cu Chi Tunnels. It will take approximately one and a half hours to drive.
Having lunch on the way to the restaurant.
Before exploring the tunnels, you will have a short introduction followed by an introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of wartime. Then, spend your time exploring the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the specially constructed living areas with kitchens, and bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purposes during the war.
Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served. Break time for relaxation or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun. (Optional). After visiting, return to Saigon.

DAY 9
|
HO CHI MINH - MEKONG DELTA MY THO (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel.
8:00 Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands. Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around the country lane and see orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation. Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit the honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.
Have lunch at a local restaurant. Break time.
In the afternoon, go by xe loi (local tuktuk) arround the village and meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta.
17.30 Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
Dinner in restaurant.

Meet your guide, today you will take a trip to visit Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace, which was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence Palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, and the historic Central Post Office. Followed by your free shopping time in Ben Thanh Market.
Then, get on a private transfer (without a guide) to the airport for the departure flight back home.
