CU CHI TUNNELS HALF DAY TOUR

This classic Cu Chi Tunnels half day trip from Ho Chi Minh City will open your eyes to the Vietnamese perspective of the American-Vietnam War.

Depart for the Cu Chi tunnels early in the morning and listen to an overview of this historic site on the journey. Enjoy the scenic drive northwest towards the Cambodian border. Today you will get to explore a section of the network of some 125 miles (200 kilometres) of subterranean passages and rooms.

Upon on arrival at Cu Chi, watch a short documentary film about the tunnels to learn a little more about the history and stories of the area and the war itself.

Inside the tunnels themselves, you will understand the pivotal role they played in the war as you climb through trap doors and inside storage facilities, weapons factories, kitchens and hospitals.

Before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City, try a local speciality of rice tapioca snacks and hot tea. This would have been a staple in the tunnels during the war.
